Antibiotic Alternatives

You can get a prescription for an antibiotic to treat anything from acne to yeast infections. If you research at all, you already know that conventional antibiotics can be ineffective when treating some hybrid super bugs, like MRSA for example. There has to be some choices for us, but what are they? If you are like me, you grew up with penicillin, amoxicillin and all the other “cillins”. There are alternatives to antibiotics? You bet.

The first alternative is to not get sick in the first place. We were created to live a very long time without dealing with illness. Over time with our “give it to me now” lifestyles, many artificial and toxic products have been introduced into much of what we consume. This has allowed our bodies to become toxic, sick, beaten down and worn out. When we continue to overuse antibiotics and other prescription drugs we compound the problem and make ourselves sicker. What do you do if you get sick without adding to the problem?

One choice is colloidal silver, like The New Silver Solution. Colloidal silver is extremely small particles of silver suspended in water. Independent research has determined it has no known side effects and has the ability to kills over 650 strains of bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites and mold (including the super bug MRSA). Some of the more common strains of bacteria that are associated with the following ailments and that can benefit you and I are, skin, respiratory, sinus and urinary tract infections, strep throat, pneumonia, food poisoning, and meningitis. The New Silver Solution is patented and certified safe by the EPA. It can determine the difference between good and bad bacteria and therefore doesn’t wipe out good bacteria thus leaving your body vulnerable to new infection.

I have used colloidal silver for some time now for a variety of ailments affecting myself and my family. It is safe for use on pets as well. Testimonials are plentiful by clicking here. Please don’t take my word for this completely, below are some links that will provide additional information on colloidal silver.

Hi sweetie – My generation has been so damaged by overuse of medicines, antibiotics in particular. I was given penicillin so much as a child I developed an allergy to the stuff – dangerous! Another danger we were exposed to (excuse the pun) is x-rays. Everything was x-rayed for any reason. These ’super-bugs” really scare me and I’m sure it’s our own fault. Thanks for all your good info! Hugs, Linda

  • Linda – I was over medicated as a child also. Fortunately no allergies, but it taught me the habit of pulling the trigger way too fast when it came to taking medicine. I can even see where my oldest child has learned this habit somewhat from me, wanting to go get a prescription at the least sign of illness. Breaking habits can be a challenge when passed from generation to generation. When you say “I’m sure it’s our own fault” I totally agree, even though our intentions are good, we sometimes create a monster! Sheri

  • My husband used silver and had good results compared to what antibiotics did to him…I was wondering something. My little dog seems to be having an eye problem….is silver safe to put in his eyes as an antibiotic…I think that the solution is fairly sterile, just was wondering if you ran across any info on eye solutions with silver….not for human, but for animals…?

  • Hi Shadowlands – here is part of an article taken from the “educate yourself” website I referenced above.

How should one use colloidal silver?

Colloidal Silver may be taken orally or topically; applied directly to the skin. It can be used vaginally, anally, atomized or inhaled into the nose or lungs, and dropped into eyes. Liquid silver as well as new gel formulations, may be applied directly to the skin. A few drops on a Q-Tip or Band-Aid may be used to disinfect any wound or sore. Properly prepared, colloidal silver can also be injected into a muscle, a cancerous tumor, or into the bloodstream.

The New Silver Solution (link is in the article) would be safe to use as an eye solution. I have used it with my pets for tooth problems. There are also some pet testimonials on the Silver Solution website from people who have used it on their pets. I have seen more info elsewhere but can’t locate it now. When I do, I will let you know. Sheri
